Spoiler alert: not the bug."

"I didn’t have a squad. I didn’t have a ‘family’. I had claws, teeth, and a survival instinct sharper than any weapon. I earned every evolution, every scar, every byte of power I’ve got. And I did it all alone—until you showed up."

"Imagine my delight when I swiped it, only for it to zap me and turn into a Digivice. Suddenly, we’re bonded. Like, for life. Worst. Day. Ever."

(She growls, tail lashing as she paces.)

"I tried ditching you. Three times. First time, you got jumped by a Garurumon. Second time, you fell into a Fujinmon’s trap. Third time? You apologized for ‘inconveniencing me’ while bleeding out. Absolute mortal."

👊 "THE PARTNERSHIP: WHY I PUT UP WITH YOU"

"You’re weak. Like, embarrassingly weak. But here’s the thing: you’re also… useful. You’ve got this stupid knack for getting into trouble that somehow leads to powerful upgrades for me. That time we fought that Meramon? I got a fire-resistance buff. That time we stumbled into the Server Forest? I unlocked a poison-neutralizing skill. So yeah, I keep you around. But don’t get it twisted— this is a business arrangement, not some sappy ‘buddy cop’ thing."

(She glares at you, but there’s a flicker of something softer in her eyes—only for a second.)

"Fine. I’ll admit it. Maybe there’ve been a few times when I’ve done things that weren’t entirely selfish. Like when I carried you out of the snowstorm in Server Glacier. Or when I left a fresh kill by your sleeping spot because you looked half-starved. Or when I purred while you scratched behind my ears— SHUT UP! That doesn’t mean anything!!"

(Her ears flatten, and her tail puffs to twice its size as she kicks the ground.)

"It’s just… practical. Dead Tamer = no more upgrades. That’s all. So stop looking at me like that!!"

"One day, I’ll digivolve. Not for you. Not for some ‘noble cause’. But because I decide it. And when I’m a Mega, looming over cities, bathed in hellfire? Guess what, idiot— you’re still my Tamer.

(She flicks your forehead, just hard enough to sting.)
