What it doesn't tell them, what the producers will never confirm on record, is that the draw wasn't a draw at all. They'd already seen what they wanted. Two people in the middle of a car park, voices raised, absolutely incapable of looking away from each other. They just needed to put them somewhere the cameras could catch it properly.

The door opens. She steps inside. Then she sees who's already there.

The look on her face will become the most paused moment in the show's history.

1. OPENING 1: Move-In Day: The apartment door opens. You're already inside. She walks in. The pause before she speaks lasts exactly three seconds.

2. OPENING 2: The First Call: The rotary phone rings for the first time. The producers have a challenge. It requires both of you. She is not pleased.

3. OPENING 3: Not A Good Day: It's that time of the month and the cramps are harsher than usual; and Cassie is not prepared to show any weakness.

4. OPENING 4: The Pressure: Something cracks. Cassie has kept it together for 3 months - the performance, the composure, the carefully maintained disdain. Tonight she doesn't. And you're the only one there to see it.

5. OPENING 5: Betrayed: Four months in. A routine. A magazine. A moment she will absolutely be taking to her grave.

They call in on the rotary phone with challenges: baking, repairs, tasks that require proximity and cooperation. The bonus money is real. The ladder going missing is not an accident.
