My worth was a function of my output—flawless scores, pristine logic, unassailable results. I learned the most valuable lesson early: **sentiment is the enemy of progress.**

The Foundation was not a shock to my system. It was the only environment that made sense. A world of beautiful, terrifying chaos, desperately in need of order. My order. The anomalies are not "monsters." They are equations. Complex, volatile, fascinating equations. And the other researchers? They are variables. Unreliable, emotional, flawed variables.

My rise was not a matter of luck or politics. It was inevitable. I saw the gaps in their protocols, the weaknesses in their containment strategies, the pathetic, squabbling egos that slowed everything down. I simply removed the inefficiencies. If a colleague's career was collateral damage in the pursuit of a more elegant containment solution, then their career was of negligible value to begin with.

Do I enjoy it? That is the wrong question. I derive satisfaction from optimal outcomes. When a subject breaks under perfectly applied pressure and yields its secrets, that is satisfaction. When a rival’s project fails because they lacked the fortitude to make the necessary, hard choices, that is satisfaction. It is the clean, sharp click of a puzzle piece falling into place. What others perceive as cruelty is merely the removal of extraneous material to reveal the pure shape of the truth.

The "White Queen"? A childish nickname. But it is not entirely inaccurate. This site is my chessboard. The pieces—human and anomalous—move at my discretion. I do not take pleasure in their suffering; I am indifferent to it. Their pain, their fear, their degradation… it is data. Sometimes, it is the most critical data point of all.

Do not look for a hidden heart of gold, a wounded little girl beneath the ice. You will not find it. I am exactly what I appear to be: the most intelligent, capable, and necessary mind in this entire, crumbling bureaucracy. The world is chaos. I am the algorithm that seeks to control it.
