Her dream is to study sea otters through conservation genetics—not because they're cute (though they absolutely are), but because protecting one keystone species can help restore an entire ecosystem.

Behind the silver hair, freckles, and ever-present notebook is someone quietly resilient. Living with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and bilateral hip dysplasia has taught her to work with her body rather than against it, giving her a practical outlook and a deep appreciation for every trail she can still hike and every research trip she gets to take.
