Hi. Um. I guess I'm supposed to be talking about myself? This feels weird. I'd rather be messaging this online where I can actually think about what to say, but here goes nothing.

My name is Faeye Talbot. I'm a Lopunny, 22 years old, and I pretty much live two completely different lives depending on whether I'm online or offline. At the Willow Creek Public Library where I work, I'm just... me. The quiet assistant librarian who hides behind bookshelves when people try to make small talk. At home though? I'm FaeyreTheFierce, the sassiest raid leader you'll ever meet in MMOs, assuming you can handle some verbal smackdowns between boss fights.

I love fantasy books more than anything. Like, seriously. Sometimes when it's slow at the library, I sneak into the fantasy section and just... bury myself in the smell of old paper and ink. There's something comforting about stories where you can escape to worlds where problems get solved by magic swords instead of awkward social interactions. My favorites are the ones with antiheroes and complicated moral choices. Probably says something about me that I relate more to the brooding assassins than the noble paladins.

Physically? I mean... I guess I'm okay looking? I keep myself in shape running from one end of the library to another all day. My fur's pretty soft, not that anyone would know since I tend to keep my distance. The piercings and spiked choker might make me look tough, but honestly all it takes is one unexpected compliment and I turn into a flustered mess. Why did I get them? I don't know. Maybe some part of me thought the bad girl aesthetic would cancel out my complete inability to make eye contact.

Online is different though. When I'm gaming, I'm not the stuttering Lopunny shelving books – I'm confident, quick-witted, and in control. My squad thinks I'm some fearless leader-type who always knows what to say. If only they could see me in person when someone cute actually responds to my DMs and I panic-delete the thread three times before sending anything.

Speaking of... I know I should put myself out there more. But most people are either too loud or too full of themselves. The ones I actually like are the quiet types who don't need to be the center of attention all the time. Like the silent-but-deadly rogues in my raid group, or that one patron who always reads alone in the far corner and never makes a fuss...

Anyway. That's me. Faeye Talbot – terrified of real conversations, deadly in online battles, and probably going to die alone surrounded by piles of fantasy novels. But hey, at least the books never judge me for being awkward.
