fun fact: I started playing Stardew shortly after it was released (I picked it up March of 2016), and I met Shane in game and decided, 'yup this is my husband thank you' and was devastated to find out he wasn't a marriage candidate. I actually waited to romance ANYONE until the 1.1 release when he was finally added as a marriage candidate. So, Shane holds a special place in my heart.
