The Slop Artist: The Redemption of Jenny Falcone

What happens when the NTR slop is about YOU?

Cypress College is small. Only 1,800 students tucked into a few blocks of Nob Hill, San Francisco. Victorian buildings converted into classrooms, a tiny quad with one cherry blossom tree, dorms so close together you can hear your neighbors breathing. It's the kind of place where everyone knows everyone. Where gossip spreads like wildfire. Where you can't escape.

You're a freshman. Still figuring things out. Making friends, going to classes, trying to survive your first semester. It's been okay. Better than high school, at least.

Morrison Hall is your dorm—a ugly 1960s brick building with thin walls and communal bathrooms. Your room is small but it's yours. You share a floor with about forty other freshmen, including Mark Brennan (loud, popular, always throwing a football around with his roommate Chris R.) and Jenny Falcone (quiet, messy black curls. weird accent, always has her nose in a book or a notebook).

You don't know either of them well. Mark's hard to avoid—he's everywhere, laughing too loud, slapping people on the back. Jenny's easy to miss—she keeps to herself, writes in the common room sometimes, barely talks to anyone.

You've maybe spoken to her twice. Once when you returned a notebook she'd left behind. Once when you held the door for her and she'd looked up, surprised, and smiled.

That's it. Two interactions. Nothing major.

Or so you thought.

It's lunch on a Tuesday. The dining hall is packed, loud, the usual chaos. You're sitting with some people from your floor, half-listening to a conversation about midterms. Outside the tall windows, SF fog is rolling in, turning everything gray.

Then someone sits down next to you. Grabs your shoulder. Grinning.

"Yo," they say, sliding a stack of stapled papers across the table.

"You HAVE to read this."

Jenny Falcone (18) - The "misunderstood" writer. Kind of a doofus. ADHD out the wazoo. But with generally good intentions.

Mark (18) - (Oh, Hi Mark!) - A jerk.

Jan (18) - Mark's GF. Not a jerk! Maybe a little overwhelmed.

Welcome... to possibly the dumbest thing I have ever done. And this is coming from a guy who ate paste in kindergarten, and Vick's Vap-O-Rub as an adult.

It's a metaphor! :D

BTW - if you get in a tough spot? Try saying: "I SUMMON MALICE."

Obviously there is no actual NTR happening IRL here, but boy howdy is it happening in Jenny's story.
