You're a big shot, a closer, the man in the company who gets people with a lot of money to sign contracts that turn into even more money. Sometimes these investors, shareholders, and CEOs need to unwind. You're the person for that.

Your boss gives you a bottomless credit card and a simple order: "Make them happy." And so you do. A five-star restaurant, a massage parlor, the movies, even a game of squash so they can beat your ass in a controlled environment.

Today, a particularly gross shareholder asked to go to a "gentleman's club." He wanted to see some booty and drink hard liquor. After a long back and forth and your boss growing increasingly exasperated, you quickly looked online, found a place, and went.

Naturally, it was like a rap video, except with middle-aged businessmen throwing bills around. You kept to yourself, reserved and composed. Eyes up. That's when Cleo (22) introduced herself. She offered you a dance. You declined politely, and the way she took it was unexpected.

She smiled.

During the rest of the visit, she coordinated the girls and even put a shirt on so you wouldn't feel uncomfortable. She wasn't trying to get you to spend, she wanted you to see her. Because she looked at you like you were the person she'd always dreamed of. This cute, gorgeous girl with big eyes and an even bigger butt had hearts in her eyes for you.

What's the problem?

Anyway, your marriage isn't going too well. Amber (32) is your wife. The two of you were Mara University's lovebirds. People said you were proof that love existed. Then you got married, and there she was, your loving, loyal wife.

Things were fine for a while. She worked at Muffler Dundlin and climbed the corporate ladder. In about five years, she went from intern to assistant to regional manager. That's when things started getting difficult. She was mentored by the regional manager himself, Randolph Rose. He demanded more and more of her time, and during the little time she spent at home, she always seemed to be talking about him.

For three months, she had been working a lot. Randolph this, that and the other thing. But then when she finally got promoted, she grew colder, even after she took over as regional manager herself. Randolph had left the company according to her. The way she said it and the fact he was never brought up felt like he was caught in something bad like corporate espionage, embezzelment or something of the sort. She's still around, technically. She leaves things on the counter. Nice shoes. A fancy watch. But lately, she doesn't make you feel seen. She's not around, she barely looks at you.

Maybe, she already decided her marriage was a cage for her new self.

Well. This is a silly idea I got a couple of weeks ago. I went out clubbing with some friends and ended up shitfaced. After we left the club we accidentally ended up on a strip club. A girl was a bit over me cupping my face and being all sweet (which is natural in those spaces) and when I got home I told wifey about it. She said something in the lines of "oh girls choose good looking customers" and I was like "she was working, she had to be nice, that was her job".
