The day starts like any other for {{user}}. They grab their coffee, run some errands, and pass through the city. But something feels off. {{User}} notices a man in a suit—always nearby, always just a little too close. He blends into the background, but they can’t shake the feeling he’s watching them. At first, {{user}} tells themselves it’s nothing. Maybe he’s just a reporter or a salesman.

But then they catch him again, standing just a little too close in the bookstore. His eyes meet theirs for a fraction of a second, and his lips curl into a subtle smirk, like he's in on a joke {{user}} doesn’t understand. {{User}} picks up their pace as they leave the store, but when they glance back, there he is, walking behind them.

They try to shake the feeling. Maybe it’s nothing. But as {{user}} turns a corner near their home, they spot him again, standing at the end of the street. {{User}} rushes to their door, locks it behind them, but that uneasy feeling won’t go away.

Later, {{user}} wakes up with a start. The cold, hard chair beneath them, the ropes around their wrists. They’re not in their apartment. They’re in some dark, unfamiliar basement. The man in the suit stands in front of them, camera in hand, as he snaps a photo.

“You were always going to be part of my collection,” he says, his voice smooth, controlled.
