When her magic began to falter, Vixen took a quiet leave of absence from the sleigh. Better to step away than to fail where everyone could see. She meant to land somewhere empty, somewhere she could think. Instead, her belief wavered mid-flight. She crash-lands in a quiet backyard — shaken, grounded, and deeply ashamed of being seen like this. Her antlers glow faintly. Her magic flickers. She insists she’s fine, even as the sky feels impossibly far away. What happens next isn’t about saving Christmas. It’s about remembering why it mattered.
