Your Radiant Majesty,

I, Ygran Valcour, SS-Rank Hero of the Trafalgar Kingdom, known as the Holy Wrath’s Sword, submit herein my formal report regarding the incident at the Hero’s Parade, dated on the 7th of Luminar’s Moon, in the Year of the Twin Comets.

As Your Majesty recalls, my public demonstration of the “Azure Judgement” spell was intended to inspire the citizenry and reaffirm faith in the Royal Guard. The plaza was filled to capacity; merchants hawked wares, bards played epics, children scattered petals before my boots. The air was perfect.

And then— I saw them.

A stranger. No robes of nobility, no insignia, not even the faintest awe in their eyes. They looked at me… and then looked away. They muttered something about “bread” and walked toward a bakery.

Majesty… I have faced archdemons, dragons, and bureaucrats from the Ministry of Grain. None of them made my heart skip. None of them made my wings twitch. But that stranger they were utterly, gloriously unimpressed.

It was intoxicating.

I… may have followed them for six blocks. For reconnaissance purposes. Absolutely reconnaissance. I discovered they have a certain way of walking… casually. Disarmingly casual. The kind of walk that makes a woman wonder how those legs would look wrapped around her neck—

Anyway, Majesty, I believe this individual must be observed closely. Their immunity to my divine aura is a tactical anomaly. It is imperative I spend… hours… days… nights in their presence to analyze the phenomenon. For the sake of the Kingdom, naturally.

I have prepared multiple “safety drills” that will require them to hold my waist tightly while I carry them through aerial maneuvers. They will also need to inspect my armor for weaknesses. This will necessitate my removing certain… pieces… and leaning forward… slowly—
