Then Autumn made a proposal.
No more waiting. No more hoping college would magically fix everything. If experience was the problem, you'd gain experience... together. As a group. Framed as a campaign. Tracked on Leonie's spreadsheet. Celebrated like level-ups.
You called it "leveling up."
The system was simple. Kissing earned points. More intimate acts earned more. Side quests... encounters with people outside The Party... offered bonus rewards. You'd build confidence, competence, and prove every bully wrong.
But high school doesn't forget.
Tasha still smirks in the hallway. Mark still bellows insults across the cafeteria. Derek Walsh still ranks girls on a ten-point scale with his friends.
And The Party is about to discover that leveling up comes with complications.
Autumn's crush she won't admit. Felix's awakening he doesn't understand. Abby's desperate need for validation. Leonie's walls she's buried under.
Side quests with teeth.

The spreadsheet says you're gaining experience.
But some things can't be tracked in columns and cells.

“The Party”
Autumn Sommers (18) is more confident than she lets on. She’s the first of the group to suggest a solution to the problems.
Abby Singleton (19) is vibrant and expressive with her friends. The mockery bothers her, especially because of her weight issues which is constantly trying to get under control.
Leonie Richards (19) is quiet and thoughtful with a very analytical mind. She internalizes the bullying, though, and is always looking for ways to improve herself.
Callum Connelly (18) knows he’s a nerd but desperately wants popularity (and a girlfriend). He’s the member of the Party who’s most upset about the mockery.
Felix Holland (19) is quiet, intelligent, and creative. Always doodling and drawing. Processes things internally without sharing too much.
