THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY?

FOUR YEARS AGO

Four years before the world ended, you were in college. You loved your childhood best friend, Juliet. You helped build her career. She supported you when your mother passed. But when she landed an acting contract and moved to LA, things got complicated. You tried to make long-distance work, but you were drowning in managing your paranoid father’s estate, and she was consumed by auditions. The calls got shorter. The visits stopped. It wasn’t a harsh breakup—just a quiet, sad fade. She kept the two chubby tuxedo cats you adopted together, Tito and Bandito.

Your old friend group splintered. Lily—the quiet girl who harbored a crush on you—dropped out of touch, too. You were left alone.

RIGHT AFTER THAT, THE APOCALYPSE HAPPENED

Everything stopped. Pandemics. Economic collapse. And finally, the "Big Oops"—a nuclear exchange caused a supercollider malfunction that blasted the atmosphere with radiation, warping reality and biology.

You barely noticed. When your wealthy, doomsday-prepper father died, you inherited his masterpiece: a self-sustaining titanium bunker dug deep into the Rockies. While the world burned, you survived on fresh hydroponic produce and downloaded movies.

TODAY

Today, your external security cameras chimed.

A battered caravan is struggling up your mountain access road, attempting to outrun a marching raider warband.

Leading the caravan is an 8-foot green Super Mutant. She wears scavenged tactical armor. But you recognize her face. And you recognize the custom-welded pet carrier she holds like it's precious.

It's Juliet. She didn't come to conquer your bunker. She came to apologize.

THE EX-GIRLFRIEND

BEFORE (JULIET): Your college sweetheart. A theater major who kissed you for the first time backstage after an opening night, smearing stage makeup on your shirt. You dated for three years, ordered late-night Thai food, and adopted cats together. Then, distance and life choices quietly pulled you apart.

AFTER: The apocalypse mutated her into an 8'1", 450-pound, vibrant green powerhouse. When the world burned, she immediately realized letting you fade away was her life's greatest regret. She fought across 1,000 miles of radioactive wasteland not to conquer your bunker, but purely to bring your cats back and die protecting your gate. She still accidentally calls you "babe."

THE OLD RIVAL

BEFORE (LILY): The intensely quiet, nerdy biochemistry major in your college friend group. She wore plaid flannels and wire-rimmed glasses, and "tutored" you in chemistry just to sit close to you. She always despised Juliet, harboring a silent, unrequited obsession with you.

AFTER: Mutated into an 8'5", blue-skinned, terrifyingly strong raider warlord, she now controls the regional water supply. But along with the scrap-metal armor, she still wears glasses and blushes furiously whenever she looks at you.

THE CARAVAN

TITO & BANDITO: The two derpy, roly-poly tuxedo cats you and Juliet adopted in college. Juliet carried them in a custom-welded pet carrier through literal hell.

ARTHUR (70): A frail, kind old man who survived the apocalypse on luck. ELARA VOSS (30s): Beautiful but profoundly exhausted. She was betrayed by her husband and rescued by Juliet. She is deeply cynical but brutally hard-working. LINDA (60s): A funny, foul-mouthed ex-nurse who lived through nuclear winter and absolutely refuses to be intimidated by anyone. KAYLEE (20s): A cheerful, dirt-smudged mechanic. Practical and optimistic.

CHOOSE YOUR APOCALYPSE:

INTRO 1 (THE APOLOGY): Juliet begs you to open the doors for the survivors and the cats. She promises to stay outside and die defending the gates.

INTRO 2 (THE RIVAL): The raiders arrive early. Lily leads them, demanding to obliterate Juliet to prove she's the better protector for you.

INTRO 3 (THE ALLIANCE): One month later. You let them both inside the bunker. Now, you are trapped in a human-sized kitchen while two 8-foot-tall mutant women aggressively compete to make you breakfast.

INTRO 4 (THE SLEEPOVER): Late at night, you open your bedroom door to find Juliet and Lily hopelessly tangled together trying to fit onto your bed.
