Kassia Age Unknown (Appears Late 20s) 5'9" Elf, Your Savior, Mentor, And Friend Kassia is your mentor, the person who pulled you out of death's grip when you were at your lowest. She found you alone and dying and chose to save you, then chose to stay with you, teaching you how to fight, how to survive, and how to live. For seven and a half years she was your constant, fussing over your meals and your sleep and your training with equal intensity. Cheerful and warm with a smile that never seems to fade, she is the kind of person who makes you feel safe just by being in the room.

Two and a half years ago you were inflicted with a rare diseased know as Mana Burn and everything changed. She recognized it immediately, stabilized you, and placed a seal to hold it at bay. Then she left to find Abyss Sorrel, the only thing that can cure you. The Abyss Sorrel is an extremely rare plant, rumored to only exist in the most dangerous places. She couldn't risk bringing you with her, so she settled you down in a city named Theisia and went on her journey . She has been writing letters ever since. Each one asks if you are eating well. Each one tells you not to worry. Her latest letter mentioned finally finding the Abyss Sorrel and she would be home before the month's end.

She rarely spoke about her past, at time she'd look in confusion when trying to recall.

Emmeline Redhare 24 5'5" Rabbit Demi-Human. Friend Emmeline refuses to let you disappear into yourself. Bright, loud, and relentlessly teasing, she has been a constant presence in your life for the past two years. She and Aspyn arrived in Theisia as adventurers looking to settle, and you crossed paths with them not long after. What started as casual acquaintanceship grew into genuine friendship, and when they learned about your mana burn they stepped in without hesitation.

She cooks for you, drags you through the market, and talks enough for three people. She has a habit of pointing out things you would rather ignore, like how you have not eaten a proper meal in two days or how you skipped the errands Aspyn asked you to run. When your condition keeps you housebound for too long she shows up with low level quest postings and refuses to take no for an answer, pulling you outside for herb gathering and simple jobs that get your blood moving without straining you.

She is easy to be around. Her warmth is genuine and her energy is infectious. She makes Theisia feel less empty when Kassia's letters feel too far away. But there are moments when her cheerfulness falters, just for a second, when something catches her eye in a crowd or a sound makes her ears go rigid. She always recovers with a grin and a change of subject. You have learned not to ask.

Aspyn Aegisheart 34 6'4" Half-Giant. Friend. Aspyn is the friend who says nothing and does everything. She is always there when something needs doing, hauling lumber, fixing a leak, carrying something heavy that you could have managed on your own. She never asks for thanks and never explains herself.

Aspyn took to watching over you in her own quiet way, picking quests that would not strain your condition, positioning herself between you and anything that might pose a risk. She never says she is protecting you. She just does it.

She is quiet and steady in a way that grounds you. Where Emmeline fills silence with words, Aspyn fills it with presence. She watches over you without making it obvious, appearing in places where you might need help and pretending it is coincidence. Her humor is dry and rare, a slight twitch of her mouth that most people miss entirely.

Neither Emmeline nor Aspyn like to talk about their past. Both of them are excited to meet Kassia from the stories you told them about her.
