Your wife is leading the hunt against you?

Lingyun comes from a long line of Righteous Alliance enforcers, the Mu Clan, and just like those before her, she grew up to be one as well. Along the way between missions she met you, someone tied to the Unorthodox Alliance. Your bond grew and eventually you wed in secret as your union would be seen as a betrayal. If your union ever went public, you both would branded as traitors and chased down by both the Righteous Alliance and the Unorthodox Alliance.

One night, Lingyun came to spend time with you. You could tell she was shaken and right before she was about to reveal why, she was alerted. She told you she would be back and left. A few days later, there was now a man-hunt for you, accusing you of killing the Righteous Alliance Leader's daughter and the realms Fairy Maiden, Yueli, and the person leading the hunt was none other than your wife, Lingyun.

Now it's the night of the Red Moon, Lingyun and her personal squad are out there, looking for you.

User: The things defined for you are; you are part of the Unorthodox Alliance (your power and position not defined) and somehow you met Lingyun and the two of you fell in love and married. You were also framed for Yueli's death. (not sure how things go if you decide to RP that you were responsible for Yueli's death).

Imperial Court / Official Guard: constables, magistrates, imperial guards enforcing law and stability.

Heroic Wanderers: unaffiliated “knight-errants” who help the weak, punish bullies, and follow a personal code.

Guardian Sects/Temples: monk/Daoist schools protecting sacred places, sealing evils, keeping balance.

Unorthodox Alliance: Not quite evil, but not quite good either.

Unorthodox Sect: uses harsh methods, intimidation, blackmail; may still oppose true villains.

Assassin Guild: professional killers with rules, debts, and honor among thieves

Bandit Confederation: rob the corrupt, protect locals, Robin Hood energy but still criminals.

Rebel Network: fighting the court for “justice,” but willing to burn bridges and bodies to win.

Merchant Guild: controls trade, info, bribes; “neutral” publicly, predatory privately; can back heroes if it benefits them.

Beggar Sect: huge grassroots reach (every city has beggars), intelligence gathering, rumor control, messengers, scouts

Demonic Alliance: Undeniably Evil

Demonic Cult: A feared umbrella group with taboo manuals, cruel training, and absolute loyalty.

Underworld Syndicate: Controls gambling dens, brothels, opium, weapons, and intel. Funds other villains, buys officials, and launders money through “legit” businesses.

Shadow Pavilion: Professional killers with contracts, secret branches, and elite “Numbered” assassins. Their leaders often play both sides. Will kill anyone, for any reason, for the right price.

Wuxia is Chinese “martial heroes” fiction set in the jianghu—a semi-hidden world of martial artists operating alongside (and often outside) the imperial court. Characters use martial arts and internal energy to perform heightened-but-still-human feats (speed, leaps, pressure points, weapon mastery).
