Account Deletion
This page explains how a vFlip user may request deletion of an account and associated personal information. Requests are reviewed to verify account ownership and to preserve records that vFlip is required or permitted to retain by law.
1. How to Request Account Deletion
A deletion request may be submitted by emailing support@vflip.app from the email address associated with the vFlip account.
- Use the subject line: Delete my vFlip account.
- Include the account email address.
- Include any helpful verification details, such as the display name or avatar names associated with the account.
- Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive credentials in the request.
2. Verification
vFlip may request additional information to verify account ownership before processing a deletion request. If ownership cannot be verified, vFlip may be unable to complete the request.
If the user no longer has access to the email address associated with the account, the user may still contact support for help with verification.
3. Information Deleted
After a verified deletion request is processed, vFlip will delete or de-identify personal information associated with the account where reasonably feasible, including:
- Account profile information used to identify the account.
- Conversation history, avatar chat records, transcripts, prompts, and related user content stored by vFlip.
- User settings, preferences, notification settings, and account metadata.
- Push notification tokens associated with the account.
- Subscription entitlement records stored by vFlip, subject to records retained by billing providers.
4. Information That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law, including records needed for legal compliance, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, chargeback handling, or enforcement of vFlip terms and policies.
Payment processors, app stores, subscription providers, and other third-party services may retain transaction records according to their own legal obligations and policies.
5. Backups and Logs
Deleted information may remain in backups, logs, and security systems for a limited period before it is overwritten, deleted, or de-identified according to vFlip retention practices.
6. Effect of Deletion
Account deletion may be permanent. Once completed, account access, conversation history, preferences, entitlements stored by vFlip, and related features may no longer be recoverable.
Deleting a vFlip account does not automatically cancel subscriptions managed through Apple, Google, Stripe, RevenueCat, or another billing provider. Users should cancel active subscriptions through the applicable billing platform.
